MAX 2009: 10th Anniversary of Allaire DevCon

Something that I'm surprised to see no one mentioned about Adobe MAX 2009 is that it is the 10th Anniversary of the Allaire DevCon -- Boston, MA, 1999. Like CF, DevCon is the conference that started it all. We had little clue as CF developers creating graphics with Photoshop back then that one day both products would be owned by the same company.

I was rather disappointed that there was no mention Allaire DevCon --> which became Macromedia DevCon in 2001 then eventually Adobe MAX. You'd think the show would honor the loyalty of the CF Community as one of the oldest of Adobe's product groups. I definitely thought Ben would've given a nod to the Allaire bros. in the Day2 keynote. MAX definitely focuses on all of Adobe's products and just like DevCon -- CF has become like the red head step-child. Although Adobe makes it clear that CF is a crucial part of the Platform.
